About Jack’s Steakhouse & Seafood

Jack’s Steakhouse & Seafood began in 1996 when Jack and Trudy Humble took a chance on a dream. They built a family restaurant in a field on the edge of Bismarck, North Dakota, with a simple goal: serve exceptional food, treat every guest like family, and create a place where memories could be made.

Nearly 30 years later, Jack’s remains proudly family-owned and locally loved. Three generations of the Humble family have helped carry on the tradition, from Big Jack to Little Jack and Jack III, better known as Dude. Their commitment to hard work, friendly service, and attention to detail can still be felt throughout the restaurant today.

Known for our steaks, seafood, hand-breaded shrimp, iconic Long Island Teas, and signature Jack’s Sauce, we have continued to grow while staying true to the values on which Jack’s was built. Over the years, our story has included Jack’s on the Go, an outdoor patio, Jack’s Sweets & Treats, and plenty of new adventures along the way.

At Jack’s, everyone is family. Whether you are joining us for a special occasion, a family dinner, weekend breakfast, or simply stopping in for something sweet, our goal is to make you feel welcome from the moment you walk through the door.

We are proud to call Bismarck home, grateful for the community that has supported us since 1996, and honored to continue serving the guests who have become part of the Jack’s family.
